School Board of Education

The Board of Education is a policy-making body and has as its primary duty, the formulation of policy for all matters pertaining to education, health and safety at Christ the King Parish Five-Day school and Religious Education Program including the giving of advice and approval to any material changes in the direction of education and the operation of these programs. All policies of the Board of Education shall be binding upon the administration and the parish unless vetoed by the Archbishop, the pastor of Christ the King Parish, or if such policies are found to be contrary to the applicable rules, regulations, and/or requirements of the State of Nebraska Department of Education.

Policy is defined as the setting of the principles, which give direction to the Christ the King Parish Five-Day School and Religious Education Program. Implementation of the policies of the Board of Education shall be the responsibility of the Principal of the Five-Day School and the Religious Education Administrator.


Parent's Club

All registered school families are members of the Parents Club organization. Monthly meetings are held throughout the school year.

Meetings are held each month on alternating days and evenings.


School Improvement Process (SIP) Committee

The overall purpose of the SIP steering committee is to assure quality of Christ the King's Catholic education program. This will be accomplished by:

  • Methodically assessing and analyzing the quality of Christ the King's Catholic education program.
  • Identifying its strengths, and
  • Developing and implementing action plans for addressing current areas of challenge.
