Spiritual Formation and Enrichment

Spiritual formation aims to help parishioners fulfill the mission for which they were created, developing a deep, personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and reaching the ultimate goal of heaven. Christ transforms our hearts and becomes the ultimate motive for all of our choices and actions. We can more clearly hear how God is calling us to live. Joy is found in responding to the love God has poured upon us.

Eucharistic Adoration

Opportunities are available for parishioners to sign up for a weekly hour of adoration before the Blessed Sacrament in the Patricia J. Koley Chapel. Individuals, married couples and families are involved in this tradition at Christ the King Parish. We invite you to participate. Hours are available. The Nocturnal Adoration Society offers parishioners a structured opportunity to pray in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament exposed on the altar. Membership is open to all Catholics regardless of parish affiliation and age. The Nocturnal Adoration Society membership is split into eight bands, with each band spending one hour in adoration on the first Saturday/Sunday of the month between the hours of 10:30 pm Saturday to 6:30 am Sunday. The hour of each band is rotated each month.

They meet weekly (13 weeks in the fall and 13 weeks in the spring) in the parish center on Friday mornings from 5:45-7:15 a.m. All are welcome to join at any time.
